Broken Record

Follow the robot, as they slowly recover the history of humanities long lost music. Yet not all is at is seems, their record player is jamming up, interfering with reality, causing the robot to 'loop' back to the start, but the world remain as is!!! Can you brave the puzzle and the platforms to save the hope of humanity?

Broken Record was built from the ground up on the idea of a musical loop. We thought how we could utilise the idea of a song repeating being a key factor in the story and life of a character. The little robot named '4' (as in for loop ;]) must strive to find the archived music vinyls in order to recover the ancient art of music. However, the music box inside of 4 allows them to break the fabric of reality, and "rewind" back in time whilst leaving the rest of the environment the same. 4 must use their reality bending power to navigate the ruins of humanity whilst making sure they survive to see the next loop. This provides a somewhat challenging timed mechanic that the player must take advantage of in order to proceed forward.
